Every time this test is conducted, I laugh involuntarily. Is this a normal response?

Well,if you have ticklish feet, then the Babinski test can tickle. Many people laugh when there are tickled. So, iI would say that laughing is a normal response.

First I had to look up info for the Babinski Test, just out of curiosity. I guess by the question, it's performed with a certain tool and it can cause a slight tickling reaction. I see this test is performed on the feet, if you are highly ticklish laughing involuntarily is normal. It's probably the anticipation that's making laugh even before the doctor touches you.

If it were me in that situation, I most likely move my feet around to avoid the tickling. If I have to go through this test, I would request to be strapped down to the examination table so I wouldn't fall off when I laugh.

I might giggle a little if a doctor preformed the Babinski test on me because I am ticklish on my feet, too.

It would depend on the touch and they tool used as to whether I would be laughing hard or not.
