my postman always knocks soo loud he almost knocks my door down so he doesnt have to knock twice
even at 7am on a sat morn u have no choice but leap outa bed normally with the shock of thinking there's an earth quake

No, never he throws the letters under the door.
But even if he would knock twice I wouldn't be able to hear him, I am in the office by the time he arrives plus I have a postal box so I do not care.

Ours do not knock on your door here, they simply fly down the sidewalk on their motorbikes during their rounds - you're lucky if you can jump out of the way in time.

No because I live in the country and she puts it in a mail box. I'm lucky to know when she has delivered the mail.

No, they seem to knock once and think you aren't there, But i have a dog and she barks everytime someone touches her letter box lol
