i was a competitive cheerleader and gymnast for many years. i've broken many a bone and had a few stitches as well.

i broke my arm in gymnastics. i was tumbling (flips) and i must have just landed weird and cracked it. very quick heal. wore a cast for 3 or 4 weeks and was back to gymnastics within another week.

i had stress fractures in my back from cheerleading. it was also from tumbling. we would do 50 standing backs (where you just stand there and do a back flip) at the end of practice and we were on a hard floor. apparently the repeated stress went right to my back and caused a couple of little stress fractures. it was also caused by my spondylolisthesis (like scholiosis only not crooked, but arched a lot from front to back) and the misalignment of my back probably caused extra stress on the vertebrae. i only had to take about 4 weeks off, but it hurt me a lot for a couple years after that.

i also broke a toe. either from dance or gymnastics, not really sure. wasn't a big deal at all. i didn't even take any time from sports. i continued to do dance, cheer and soccer. but i wrapped my foot for a while and it did hurt. there's really nothing you can do for broken toes though.

and then last year i was in a stunt (where you hold people in the air) with my college cheerleading squad and they flyer (the girl in the air) came down sort of funny and elbowed me just above the eyebrow. i had to get some stitches. no big deal though.

and then probably my worst injury was also from cheerleading, when i tore my achilles tendon in half. it was also from tumbling and also caused by repeated stress on my body. i had to get surgery on it and obviously that had stitches.

I broke my wrist falling out of a swing, I got stitches with I was 18 months old from falling backwards and splitting my head open, I've had stitches in my knee after knee surgery (when I was 13), and I've had stitches in my hip and back from a spinal cord stimulator implant which required 4 surgeries, and I think that's about it, but hopefully I won't have anymore, but I'm only 15 lol!

Broke my right leg twice, 1st time when I was about 5, I was playing and slipped off a big fat arm chair, and my right foot got stuck in the side of chair. The second time I about 30, I was playing hockey and ran into another person, felt and heard it snap. I have also broken my toes a few times (they hurt).

I had stitches when I was quite young, on my right hand. I am not sure how as I was quite young.

I broke all of my knuckles on my right hand when I was 10, I was doing handstands in my grandmothers house and fell skew! I needed the metal claw... I've also hand stitches, when I was 12, I went down a really steep hill on my rickety bicycle caught a speedwobble and fell headfirst into the road. I chipped one of my front teeth, and I needed 5 stitches on my eyebrow. The hair still doesn't grow there nemore.

I'm 14 and I broke my arm before when I was 9. The first time got my new scooter I was so excited and I wanted to see what kind of tricks I could do, so I stood up and took my hands off to try and ride it as a skateboard. Almost immideatly after I fell and when I sat up again my right arm hurt so much, It turned out that I had a buckle break in my arm and I had to wear a cast for around 8 weeks, even though usually with buckle breaks you only wear the cast for around 4 weeks.

I got caught in the P.T.O. of a tractor and broke my ribs, cracked my teeth, concussion, stitches in my arms, tore my rotator cuff, had 18 staples from that, and many scrapes and bruises, but, lucky to be alive!
