Yes twice - both were surgeons - once when I was a baby and the second time two years ago when I was pregnant myself and had severe pre-eclampsia. You just can't find words to tell them how great that is, and they kind of shrug because it's part of their job. Great stuff.

I'm not sure that I would have died if this guy didn't help me, but I would have gotten trampled. I was in a crowd at Ozzfest directly behind the mosh pit and had gotten separated from my boyfriend. The crowd behind me surged forward and I lost my balance. I could see the open space begin to close as the crowd shifted again. It was as if time slowed and I realized that all these humongous metalheads were going to trample me. A Samoan dude grabbed my upper arm as if I were a little doll and saved me from getting stomped on. When I thanked him, I was crying from the adrenaline rush. For the rest of the concert, I stayed safely within my boyfriend's giant arms. People have died in similar circumstances, so I consider myself very fortunate.

I once fell into a small space in the basement of an old house I lived in when I was young. I tried quite vigorously to get out. I soon realized that I was trapped, having one arm stuck behind me, I was wedged into this semi-closet space big enough maybe to put some golf clubs in.
Sounds like no big deal, but you learn about clausterphobia rather quickly when you lost your ability to move!
To make matter worse, the was blankets stuffed into this space and they were packing me in and covering my head. Which muffled my cries for help and made it really hard to breath.
I was about 9 years old, and I began to panick. I couldn't move at all, the more I struggled the more I sank down into the tossed pile of blankets. While most likely wouldn't have died I may have panicked enough to make myself pass out.
I'll I remember now is trying to calm myself and having the realization that there was nothing I could do to help myself. Very terrifying!
After about a half hour of this a hand grabbed my shirt and pulled me up. It was my brother~! I was so happy, very sweaty and upset. But the feeling of being freed from that straight-jacket was so amazing. And it's the best thing I could think of in regard to having my life saved. It was a very enjoyable saved feeling!
Thanks bro.
P.S. He actually performed the hiemlich on me also when I was eating a jolly-rancher on a road trip and we hit a bump. Now that I think about, that was way worse than being stuck in the small space!

Yes a lifeguard at a swimming pool when I was 16, I'm very good at swimming but some thug pushed me in the 12ft deep end of the pool, it totally caught me off guard, I panicked big time and almost drowned, thankfully the lifeguard pulled me out, he will always be my hero for saving my life.

Michelle, the answer is YES! Once in Denver, Colorado, a gang had me and some friends penned in this alley, one of them grab me by the back, trying to hit me with his fist, he grabbed my jacket so I just slipped out of it and left it with the gang member.I was saved by a jacket. I got into a car that my buddies were in awaiting me, and escaped by backing out of the alley and fleeing away.I don't know how to write a story.Hope you well today! Jimmy

An American man called Jeff who had amazing blue feet. I was dying of dehydration in the Sumatran jungle and he carried me for over a mile through the Jungle to get me help. There was also a German bloke called Carel and a load of total strangers who appeared at the Jungle Inn to help me. So thanks to you all.
