Her broad shoulders, bone structure, eyebrows, her angry facial expressions in her movies, she looked really masculine in "The House of sand and fog". In fact, she looks like this guy I used to know, just him with breasts and no facial hair. I dont know why but I could just picture her with a beard and it wouldnt look out of place on her. She only looks girly-girl with her hair up, not down, it makes her face look long and rough, and of course her boobs are feminine. Am I the only one that sees this?

No, I don't think she's manly looking. I think "exotic" describes her better.

No, you are right. She has strong features...the thick eyebrows, the jawline. She is very beautiful though. I suppose it's similar to the way some men look feminine but they are still handsome. I think Jude Law has feminine features and airs about him.

No, I think it is because she is very athletic though. But yes, before I knew any better, when I watched Ugly Betty, I thought she was a guy and not really a female. I had never heard of her before to know any different.

I would say that's what makes her unique. People don't use this term any more but, at one time she would have been referred to as a handsome woman.
