I came off the pill nearly 3 months ago. I had one period immediately and I haven't had one since. Does anyone know if this is common as I'd like to know before I fork out a load of money to see my doc.
I've done 2 pregnancy tests and they both came back negative so I'm pretty confident that pregnancy is ruled out.

this is very common and happened to me too. don't worry tho your cycle will get back to normal soon enough.

if it isn't back normal-ish in 6 months consult your doctor because it may be that you pituartary gland isn't working properly and is causing hormonal imbalances.

Good luck!

The one you had immediately would be like the type you get when you go on the inactive pills.. its not really a period as such though. Its likely your body is having to re adjust to its own hormones, so long as your not pregnant I would consider this normal. See you doc if you miss more than 5-6 months in total I think.

It can take the body a few months to readjust itself because now it's trying to rid itself of the medication that is left over. But I would recommend checking with your doctor as well (and you can call to ask this as well) to see what they say.
