You can drink lot of water. If required lay down in relaxed position like the baby sleeps.......

I gather that this is a norm for you during your monthly cycle are also a heavy bleeder or light? If this is not a norm for you then I would recommend seeing a doctor.
Even if you are young you should see a physician yearly and get a PAP Smear just to keep yourself on the safe side.

In the mean time a Heat Pad would probably be the best treatment without taking medication. DOAN's does have some meds that are over the counter, ask your Pharmacist.

A heating pad can also help but because of how bad these cramps are this really needs to be evaluated by a doctor to see what they think is going on.

if you can, sleeping really helps. If you can't sleep, at least try to lie down. You might also want to try lying on your back and pulling your knees to your chest. It's a yoga position that helps a lot of women out with cramps, especially me!

Apart from paracetemol, try light / gentle stretching or exercise, or chill out with a hot water bottle or in the bath.

Massage or pushing on certain spots may ease the pain.

take a neurofen and a panadiene-ONLY thing that works for REALLY bad cramps-well for me anyways, and a heat pack.
