Jerry Rice is better by far. Jerry has caught more passes than Moss. He has had more tds than Moss. Moss has Rice beat in speed though. Overall in carrer I would have to go with Rice. The only thing is that Moss isn't done with his carrer yet. He could still pass up some of Rice's records. I doubt this though because Rice was one of the best recievers of All-Time. I also doubt Moss because when he was with Oakland he choked a lot of the plays. Now that he is with the Patriots, who knows what could happen. If he chokes again this season he is all washed-up and has used all his talent up while he was on the Vikings. The only time that I have seen him be a real team player was then. He had Culpepper to throw to him. I think Rice has the overall hands down.

Jerry Rice hands down. The man had such an incredible work ethic that no one can or will ever match.

I know they say records are made to be broken, however; in the case of Jerry Rice, I just don't see it happening.

In his prime, who could stop him? Hey, I'm a Bears fan and I even knew it spelled trouble for my team when we played them.

Randy Moss is just to selfish. I don't care where he goes, he'll be a bust. It's possible he'll work into Belichick's game plan, but that remains to be seen.

If you put the two side by side in their prime, not even a comparison. Shoot, to some degree, I still Jerry Rice would be better today than Randy Moss.

Receptions and TD's definatly go to Rice. He is the greatest reciever to play the game and his numbers prove it. He was never a real fast guy though. I am not saying he was slow but he wasn't considered a real burner either. He ran precise routes and took advantage of his knowlege of the other teams defenses.

Moss is a better athlete then Rice and does posses the speed to be called a burner. He has an insane leaping ability and great hands. I think Moss lacks heart. Heart is the greatest gift a Football player can posses.

Jerry Rice is the better overall receiver, he has records that Randy Moss would dream to get.

Jerry Rice may be the greatest receiver ever. Randy Moss has greater physical talents, but his lack of work ethic will never allow him to be mentioned in the same breath as Rice. Rice wasn't the fastest guy or the biggest guy, but he ran perfect routes and caught just about every ball that came his way. He worked hard to be the greatest and it showed. Rice was a true professional. He didn't showboat or do the crazy things that Moss and T.O. do. Vince Lombardi once said, "When you get to the endzone, act like you've been there before". Rice typified this philosophy.

Wow... how can you even have Moss in the same level as Rice?! Rice is arguably the best receiver of all time, he was a leader, great hands, a go-to guy, has the most td's, etc... Moss only has the speed but even that's iffy.

Dude, most people will say undoubtedly Jerry Rice is the best player ever not just reciever and randy moss isnt even close to the best reciever in the NFL today. TO, Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison,Steve Smith are all better.
