I remember making scrapbooks in the 1960's and 1970's. Scrapbooking will never die out, but I believe store-bought embellishments will fall by the wayside. Good riddance, in my opinion. It isn't creative!

no way. Just go on the internet to scrapbook.com. There are people from all over the world who participate! Plus, the scrapbook technique can be used for other things than just photo albums. Good way to meet some true honest friends!

WOW I hope not!! I still see lots of groups involved with it and a fair number of letters made using the scrapbook sets.
I think that another year of blends and scrap books and then it will switch to something else. I would like them to stay around a long time.

I hope so. I'm tired of seeing the large displays for scrapbooking in the craft stores. I never wanted to get into that particular craft/hobby.
But it may not be dying out because in Calif. I still see lots of supplies for that craft.

i think that scrapbooking may be a little. the scrapbooking techniques seem to be going into cards now.

i think that the time of year has alot to do with it. it can be so hectic with school starting back. time is a problem. go to your local scrapbook store and talk to them about setting up a crop or meet other scrappers.

I used to be into it, but you need the right occasion,,,, I don't think its so popular for albums now, but the techniques are used in cards ect.
