While this may be superficially true, devoted liars such as politicians and salesmen create an imaginary world that follows terrestrial logic and is the same as the real world in the man's memory. The man no longer thinks of himself as a liar but merely as recalling 'memories'.
Barristers are a more honest example of this phenomena. A defence barrister creates a mental scenario where his client is not guilty and throughout the trial this model which may be incredibly complicated is depicted as fact.

definitely, men are really bad liars as they always trip them selves up with not remembering how the story went the first time they said it, my husband is a prime example.
At least women work out their story then stick to it.
