I think that they should be locked with a starving bear in a room or leave them in the middle of the Gobi desert where they will die in agony so that the next time a molester may think thousand times before initiating or taking such disgustfull steps.

You know I always think we waste so much money on people in jail. The only reason why I think we should keep prison is because the guards and ect.. They loose there jobs. Also those child molesters have family to. You have to remember they may do something bad but they still have people that love them. But yes I agree death row takes to long and is over pampered.

From a practical perspective, it's very expensive to execute someone because of all the legal requirements. Also, our justice system has huge flaws, that include unethical people who are not above lying, tampering with evidence, or planting evidence.

America is considered to be barbaric, and these comments contribute to this perception. Many of these molesters appear to be pillars of the community and family men. They have rejected a dark and evil side of themselves, and consequently are drawn to it. (I know it's ironic.)

Haven't you wondered why so many staunch conservatives and religious leaders have revealed themselves to be pedophiles?

We need to approach this problem with understanding. Otherwise, we will repeat these mistakes without resolution. I believe that the reactionism typified by these responses are a big part of the problem.

Why not move to an Islamic country where executions for such offenses are more common? Why should the government contribute to the insane increase in violence?

Here's a scenario for child molestors who kidnap children and hide their bodies and keep their whereabouts from the police (it could also work for just regular child molestors as well).
Have the molestor tied up and secured with a full medical staff nearby. Then have the father/guardian ask for the location of his child. When the molestor refuses, the father then cuts him with a very sharp razor blade anywhere on the molestor's body. The medical team then comes in and stops the bleeding to keep the molestor alive. And this goes on until the molestor gives up the location of the childs body.

Yes, I would support the death penalty for child molesters in states that have capitol punishment.
Not a firing squad though; torture and then a slow and painful death.

Why shoot them when we can save bunny rabbits? I propose we use them as medical test subjects! We could poke and prod them with all kinds of nasty chemicals.

It is my belief once they molest they should automatically loose their rights as a human being.
