Yes, I'd guess labor is around the corner! Diarrhea is often a symptom when the cervix is opening or thinning dramatically, you don't need me to tell you what the cramps probably are ... so start trying to feel and time those contractions!

If you don't feel any, get checked out at the hospital because it's possible for the cervix to open without any contractions but this brings a risk of infection. Especially when you've already expelled the show.

Not always, I am 39 wks and 2cm dilated and 50 percent effaced been this way for 2 wks. To me it isn't exciting because I am having a c-section in a few hours so i can understand your anxiousness. But sometimes with diarrhea cramping comes along. I would call the dr in the morning though because you may be having pre term labor symptoms or just have a stomach virus. Defin. because you lost your mucus plug is a big deal.

Have you packed ? & ready to go? if you don't have a virus, causing the diarrhea,,it could be right soon,,,,

When you go into labor you willnot mistake those pains. sometimes your water will break & you'll be ready so then you will i on full speed on get going.

hope you have a safe & healthy delivery,,,,try not to worry too much ,, hang in there

Is it severe diarrhea? It might just be stomach flu, in which case you should see a doctor, and drink lots of liquids.

But, it could be you're on your way to motherhood! Good luck, try to rest, and keep up on the liquids either way!

Could be Braxton-Hicks... Try sleeping - If you cannot stay asleep, go to your maternity center and they'll be able to tell if it's "false-labor" or the "real deal" in less than an hour...
Either way, CONGRATS!
