Tea tree oil is better for skin and "live" things. Lysol is better for inanimate objects-- table, cabinet tops and so forth.

Actually "Tea Tree Oil" is an awesome antiseptic; and it's multi-purpose to boot!

I'm not sure if you meant tea oil or what,but I prefer good old Lysol...=)
