sorry, but so far our universe is not quite infinite.
time might be, but not in this universe.
try the multiverse.

The Universe is infinite, much larger than the known +- 4.6 Billion Lightyears.
Perhaps there's a species out there in the Universe that can defy gravity, like Superman.
The amount of extra-terrestrial life in the Universe, is not billions, nor trillions. If the Universe is unlimited, it must be more, I think in the Googolplex amounts.
The Big Bang theory is just a theory, because we don't have proof of this theory, this is older than Time itself.
Out there must be a Mirror or a Parallel Universe. But... We are NOT alone!!!

no not really, although its a complex arguement. it comes down to the definition of infinity. remember the old saying that an infinite no of monkeys with an infinite no oc typewriters would produce Hamlet - well the internet has shown that that is not true.

btw Patrick, there is currently some debate as to whether the laws of physics are constant throughout this universe, across time, or across other parallel universes.

The universe is finite. It cannot logically be infinite. If the universe were infinite,it could NOT be expanding. We KNOW the universe IS expanding, how could an infinite universe expand? There is no such thing as MORE infinite

Ha! Some people seem VERY certain they know whether the universe is infinite or not. I mean, you can have a theory but nobody knows for certain!

The universe is not infinite.

Even if it was that does not mean that everything is possible and that superman exists..... what kind of logic is this?

Actually yes. In Quantum mechanics and Einstein's general theory, everything is possible.... not necessarily probable, but possible. This is often forgotten by people because absolute law in physics does not exist, but relied upon. It keeps things orderly.

Not really. If the universe is infinite (which we don't think it is), then based on our observations the rules of physics would apply everywhere. Superman defies gravity, along with other physical properties, which don't agree with our universe's physical laws.

yes u r right, but no one will convience of this because we believe in our religions that there is no man kind in the whole universe except the earth, and no one will convience too because it's a very strange idea and it's not that important, and it cant help us in anything, by the way, and no one will convience too because no mathematical calculations or model will prove it anyway.
anyway,it's a great idea, goodluck
