One side of the 220 line is out. Either one breaker blew or a loose connection.

First, unplug the stove, remove the burners and clean with an electric cleaning solution, you purchase at Home Depot or somwhere like that. Clean the connectors on the stove as well. I had an electric stove and that was my problem. Grease gets clogged up in there and on the burners. Sometimes, there're just not plug in properly too!
Try that first, and if they still don't work properly, purchase some new ones at Home Depot or maybe even Walmart, I can't remember where I purchased mine. There're not very expensive (cheaper than getting a new stove)
Try it.

Your electric stove has 220 v . You may got water or grease on the plug and receptacle. The receptacle has arced. This burned out one of the + lines in the plug . It also could have burned the receptacles lines. You are only getting 110v not 220v . You need to kick the breaker off . This is a fire hazard. You need to change the receptacle. and plug. Change them both . They may be discolored . But do not use them again It will happen again.Go to a four plug receptacles and a four way plug . This will give a better ground and is safer. Your stove has been arcing. The Receptacle and plug are gone. You should use a master Electrician to do this.

Have you been using the stove? maybe the electrical wires aren't hooked up right. It sounds almost like it's hooked up for 110 instead of 240. Check it out.

It sounds to me like you are not getting full voltage to the stove. Most likely a burned circuit breaker or wall receptacle.
Check the voltage at the stove if you are handy and have a voltmeter or you will have to call for service.

Your power cord for the stove isn't plugged in all the way. You replaced your outlet or cord and didn't wire it right. Or in some case the bill didn't get paid and the electric company is limiting your power usage until you pay the bill. Most likely it isn't plugged in all the way.

The thermostat has probably gone bad. If you go to an appliance parts house they can explain this process to replace it. Take the brand name model number and they can advise you.
