Why aren't gas stations/convenience stores open 24 hrs. anymore? I never heard of a gas station that's not open 24 hrs. until after Hurricane Katrina. Now I see they have limited hours. I wish I could go get me something to eat, man. I'm hungry! Some people have their midnight cravings. Ya know?

That is a bummer. To have something so close and yet not be open. They could at least be open extended hours even if they are not open 24/7. Where I live most things like convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores are open 24 hours. If I moved, I am sure I may be in for a big surprise too.

Actually I know of a few gas stations that were not open 24/7 before Katrina hit. I live behind a 24/7 gas station and I hate it! People hoot and holler and play their crappy music all night long. It is very annoying!!!!

Heck yea. think about it. Some people go to the casino knowing that if they lose all of there money they cant get gas, So at 2am on there way home they get gas with their last 5 dollars. How many people needed gas on there way home from work at 1230a. Or even a snack. All gas stations sell something that most people need in an emergency. Condoms, cigs, you name it. 24hrs is the best. What about slushies. Hell yea slushies the top reason to have a 24hr gas station drinks.
