or when i am on my period or something my mom tells me no t to be in setting water...is this true? even for just discharge...thick dark.

well ya thats gross ur blood gets in the water n gets all dirty..its jus gross thats why

wow, then you would never get to swim. Women have daily discharge. You can swim while on your period, you just have to wear a tampon. I'm not sure why your mom is telling you this.

Wear a tampon while in the pool or ocean. Change them when you get out. I don't know if she meant baths too but baths are fine and can help soothe cramps.

As long as your tampon is the proper size and strength for your flow you'll be fine.

just use a tampon it will absorb all of the blood and discharge.

But make sure that if you are going to be in the water for a long time to change it regularly.

You CAN, but you MUST wear a tampon or moon/diva cup.

i was told that when you have your period or anything it should stop once you get into water, idk why that is but thats what i was told when i was younger, but i would suggest like getting in water somewhere else b4 you actually get into a public pool or something.
