most definitely, because then you start thinking to yourself, what would happen if he/she died or left me for someone else, then you start thinking how heart broken you'd be, how much you'd cry, how much you'd feel like ending your life. cause when you love someone so much you can't imagine yourself without them, so when they go away, even if its just for a day, your heart aches because you wanna be with them so bad...

Of course! I think that's the sign of true love. If you just liked a guy, then when it started to hurt you would back off. But when you love someone so much that even being with them when they hurt you, that means something. And I do not mean physical or mental abuse, either. I'm sure you understand that.

Yeah, it is. It's exactly what I'm going through right now. The root of all of the problems we've had stems from the fact that I can't control my worry and I love her more than I can begin to describe. Now it's getting to be too much for her to handle, and she says our relationship has changed. I am so afraid I'm going to lose her. I love her with all my heart and soul and I am terrified beyond words that I'm going to lose her.
