Well I was 16, but it was neither bought by me or FOR me...my Dad just gave me his car as a hand me down. Does that count? If not, then at 18 my brother bought me a car. I bought the first one for myself at 21.

I was 15 when I bought my first car. It was a bright red '92 camaro that was pretty beat up. I worked all summer to pay for it, 1500 dollars. I was so proud of that hunk of crap and it's t-tops.I lost my virginity in it and got drunk for the first time too.

I beat the hell out of my mom's car when I was 16 back in the early 80's ..I guess I was 18 when i got my first real car that was my own.

I was 18. A 1966 Ford cortina GT. bought it myself and paid for all the repairs myself, as well.
