Do you believe people can really truly change their lifestyle in an instant? When you make constant mistakes and hurt the ones you love, then realize happiness was right in front of you all along. How do you make it right? How do you go from lies and cheating and deception to realizing you are head over heals with this man and he is the only person in the world you want to spend the rest of your life with.No more parties, alcohol, sex.Just focus on changing into a good person,a trustworthy person and a person that would move mountains for the one you love.I don't know what to do,i know i have changed and i know what i am willing to do to fix this relationship, but i don't know how to regain his trust. He is my everything and the thought of life without him terrifies me.We have so much more than just the two of us involved,i feel like i have completely let everyone down.I know the first thing would be to not have done it,but it happened and i can't change that, now what? i love him so much!!!

YES, I believe it can happen - and YES, anyone canchange once they know what they want... BUT you shouldn't try it alone if your relationship really has a that much bad history. Even if you go into this whole-hearted, you partner can (and will) unintentionally sabotage your attempts to change. Why? Because he needs healing.

Go to a marriage counselor if you want to fix your relationship. YOU may be doing all the changing, but your partners' shared effort will do a lot of the "fixing"

What you wrote is beautiful and heart-felt and you should say this to your husband. Then seek marital counseling if he is having trust issues with you to help heal the marriage. Trust is not easy to get back but it can happen if the 2 of you really want this to work. Best wishes for a happy ending.

I guess its not an answer to your question.. but more like.. how do I know that this time.. its real.. more real than the last two chances I gave you...

Fool me once.. shame on you.
Fool me twice... shame on me..
Fool me three times?.... is there such a thing?

You ask what you are supposed to do Jessica... what am I supposed to do?

Why don't you start by telling him. Then by showing him .Then by proofing him.And all of the won't happen overnight. You need time to show him,he needs time to believe.Good luck

You will have to prove yourself, if he is willing to let you. Get some counseling. Go by yourself if he won't go, you have some major issues.

I think you should be honest to yourself first and then be honest to the one you're really love...
while you're trying to do this, remember to surrender everything to Jesus. At least, I've tried it...

Perhaps! you've forgotten this word... "Jesus loves you".
just keep it in mind ok!

Regard,
Winston.
