It is a story about a young woman (played by Audrey Hepburn) always on the run from herself. Lacking a stable childhood, she marries at the age of fourteen, has the marriage annulled, moves to Hollywood to start a film career, leaves Hollywood for New York (where she earns money as a call girl and by unknowingly carrying coded messages for an incarcerated mafia boss), and plans to leave New York for Brazil to marry one of the world's richest men. The story explores the relationship between Holly and Paul, her other paramours, and the resolution that occurs within Holly's own mind and between Holly and Paul (George Peppard)

The movie won an Academy Award for Original Music Score and Best Song. It also got an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, Best Art Direction and Writing Adapted Screenplay.

So, if this genre is your cup of tea I suggest you go and watch it. Audrey Hepburn considers Holly as her most memorable and identifiable role.

It's about a woman who as a girl wanted to be more than she was.. she ended up leaving her husband moving to New York and recreating herself as Holly Golightly.. a socialite who makes money by being.. well, to put it in a way you may understand.. an escort.. she dates rich men, accepts money from them, and brings it to a mob boss.. She meets a man, who basically makes money the same way as her.. (but of course it's better for him because he is also a writer.. *sarcasm*)_They both try to fight it but end up falling in love..

Very hard story to write out really..
