I recently started taking vitamins (D, C, and B6) and seen that my urine has turned dark yellow and smells. It's embarrassing to even ask but I don't know what else it could be! I drink water, tea, and green tea and I'm cutting back on soft drinks. It doesn't burn when I have to go and my stomach doesn't hurt. What could it be?

The color comes from the B vitamins. What ever B vitamins the body doesn't need from the supplements will make your urine yellow and stinks. Just drink a lot of water, sometimes is will decrease the yellowish color.

When I take my centrums on a daily basis, I also notice my urine gets darker and tends to smell more then normal. Your body doesn't hold certain vitamins. some are water soluble and some a fat soluble. The water soluable vitamins like vitamins C and D will pass through your system quickly. Which is why it is important to keep up those levels.
So the answer is most likely yes

It's probably just that you're not drinking enough water. Urine is ideally supposed to be clear, not yellow at all. It gets darker and darker the more dehydrated you get. I've seen dark orange urine before. The cloudyness might be something to worry about, though. Consider seeing your doctor and asking about UTI (urinary tract infection) or bladder/kidney infection, ESPECIALLY if it hurts/stings/burns at all to pee.

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) turns your urine yellow. Thiamin (B1) causes the 'smell' associated with B-vitamins.

Note: vitamin D is fat soluble, not water soluble.

vitamin B does this. Nothing to worry about. I would suggest drinking more water to dilute the color/smell, plus drinking more water is good, right?

Yes, any amount of those that your body doesn't need will be expelled in the urine. Which will cause the color and odor.
