If a computer exists which is many millions of times more powerfull than the human brain, will it make it rather pointless for us to learn how to do things?

What Picasso is saying is computers cannot ask questions. Until they ask questions they will not even approximate the thinking ability of the human mind.

To date, no computer has ever asked a 'new' question.

Human learning will NEVER be obsolete. Guaranteed. Also quantum computing is largely speculative and is many years down the road.
