yes, it does. Too small a fuse will blow under normal load.
Too large a fuse will not protect the wiring in case of a short.
If the right size fuse blows something is wrong.

Antonio, Hell yes it matters !!!!
Fire will result if you install a heavier amp fuse, or foil, etc.
Always replace with excact same amp rated fuse.
Do not mean to sound mean just be safe. If your fuse keeps blowing you have a direct short to ground and need to troubleshoot that problem.
GM started using those plastic color code fuses with the # amp printed in white, facing you. You may have the old glass fuse, Didn't say the year.
The owners manual will help you figure out the proper fuse to replace, otherwise you'll have to remove them and look at them in the light to tell if they are blown. Or there are trouble lights that speed the troubleshooting.
Get a fix it manual for you year delta and read it.
You can do it and do it right!!!

Subwoofer amp? that would depend on your amplifer wattage. Checking this out is very important so the inside of your amp doesnt start smoking and never work again. Some fuses go from 5amps to 40amps in line with the battery and obviously make a huge difference so gogle or call an audio shop and find out.

Yup. If you use too low an amp fuse they'll just keep blowin out. If you use a fuse that's rated at a higher amperage, you'll blow out whatever that particular circuit runs. Use what's recommended, could also start a good fire.

Yes it does. If it didn't matter then they would not use different fuses at all. The wiring is rated for a certain wattage, and it is fused for that rating. A larger fuse may allow the wire to catch fire and burn. We don't want that do we?

YES! Using a fuse with a higher amp rating can allow to many amps to get to the appliance and blow it out.

Yes it does. A wrong fuse may blow or not protect the circuit. Each slot is marked and fuses are cheap so don't cut corners.
