Been there done that. Not planned on Floyd's part. Inexpensive technology to obtain a copy of Wizard Of oz wasn't around and don't you think they would have tried to make a longer album so that the album didn't end well before the end of the movie?

I don't think it was planned. Those guys were doing waay too many drugs at that point to put together something like that which would take so much timing and patience.
The coolest part is that every song that doesn't make much sense the first time, does whenever you play the album the second time.
I love how whenever Dorothy opens her eyes in color for the first time, you hear the cash register ring at the beginning of, "Money." That I will admit was weird.

Yeah, it's pretty surreal. I like to think that they planned it, but I guess we'll never really know.
You know, you can do a similar synch with Floyd's song "Echoes" and the last 23 minutes of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It isn't as eerie as Dark Side of the Rainbow, but it's still quite striking. I think it was definitely planned.

I saw it, and don't believe it. It's hard to believe Roger Waters poured his entire soul into making an album just to sync it to a movie.
And the Brain Damage scence, the scarecrow was on the yellow brick road, not the grass!

Anythings possible when you are on acid. No really I've done it too when I was trippin and not trippin, and it was a whole lot more convincing when I was on drugs.

Yeah, actually, I've seen that, and it is uncanny, but I think it's a coincidence.
