First- don't leave without a job waiting for you.
Sit down with your boss and tell them that you
need to move on; 'while working here has been
a good experience for me, I feel that I need to
explore other areas in the workplace'. blah blah.
Leave in a professional manner.

you shouldn't quit without reason or notice unless there is some form of harassment going on that you can prove. as a management professional, I will overlook any application where they have quit without notice or can't provide a good reason for leaving. why am I going to invest time and my companies' dollars in hiring and training an individual who may decide to do the same at my company. give a 2 week notice and you'll be able to use them as a reference going forward. surely you can suck it up for 2 more weeks can't you? I speak also from experience on the other side of it....I quit one of my first jobs because "they didn't deserve a notice" and it took me almost 8 months to find another one. I feel this had something to do with it, even though it is very hard to prove. you sound like you may still be young having that attitude, or immature for your age if you aren't, but trust me, it's not the way to go no matter how much they may "deserve it". you'll wish you hadn't later.

If you plan on putting them on any application or resume (which I would do even if you quit without notice as many places perform a back round check and could find out about them) then I would recommend that you give notice.
If you just want to quit, do something memorable, like walk around with a stereo playing songs like "We're not gonna take it" and "Flight of the Valkyries" while wearing a sign that says "I QUIT #$$%^&%$"

Well, if you plan on using them on your resume or on your next job application then I definitely would give a two week notice. If you don't then you won't be able to use them in the future and that could mess things up for you. If you already found another job and it's set then do what you want.
