here is a way that works for me. sit down cross-legged in front of a candle that you have placed below eye level a couple feet away. form a pyramid with your hands and forearms with all of your fingers outstreched and touching, where you can see the candle through the pyramid of your hands. take a deep breath and dissconect your thumbs from eachother slightly. exhale and rejoin them. repeat this for each finger in order(index, middle, etc) when you finish the pinky, reverse the order. now smoothly drop hands down and just look at the flame. after awhile you will see only the flame, every thing else will dissapear. you have just reached the first level and you will find the owners manual for ...you! after practicing for awhile you won't need the candle and you will advance through stages very quickly and will be able to reach a very special place where time stands still. a place just for you where you can find forgiveness or closure on issues youv'e been carrying for a long time.*****

Good.Keep on it and some day you may learn to forgive and forget yourself too.This isn't meditation but one of the methods for concentration of mind.Meditation is still a long way from this stage,Keep on it and some day you may reach there.
