I would only being willing to clone organs of myself. Like I am likely to need a new liver. I have seen them grow a human ear on a mouse now all they need to do is grow a human liver on a mouse and I am set. Viva tequila!!!!

I would have no problem doing so. I think it would provide a sufficient amount of labor as well. Any ethical questions could be solved in a relatively simply way. Companies are already patenting sequences of dna, it shouldn't be long till people copyright their own dna code. After that they would in effect own themselves and any copy thereof. On the issue of religion, they'd have about as much of a soul as a twin would have I suppose.(I believe in no such thing) Although the dna copyrighting would be a bit of a difficulty for people that are twins. Also having clones would essentially end any and all organ transplant and blood transfusion shortages. They'd be the perfect donor because they are you.

I find the term "honey" or "hon" to be very condescending.

It raises too many ethical questions about if the person is a real person and if it should be forced to give its life to save me if I, say, needed a new organ. The ethical issues are just too large for it to even be considered an option, even disregarding the scientific inability as of now to clone.

i'd be willing, yeah, but at the same time there would be no compelling reason to do it. a clone would be less like me than identical twins are like each other, and if the aim is to clone replacement organs why not just clone organs?

Not on your life! Being unique is what makes us great. I couldn't bear the thought of another "me" walking around.

No, definetly not.
I like being the only me; being unique and original.
