Hey all, in 2 weeks I will become a Junior. I was thinking about what will happend 2 years later when I graduate. Will it be really sad? Do you still keep in contact with all your friends? Did some you classmates went to the same college with you? Is college a lot better?

College is the start of the real world, high school is just a glimpse-usually a bad one, considering it's usualyl about popularity etc. Honestely I keep in touch with a few people from hgih school, that are my true friends, we talk here and there-and hang out when we can. With facebook and stuff, it is much easier to keep in touch with others that you aren't/weren't as close to. College is fun, but also a reality check that no one has mercy one you and if you don't take things as an adult and act childish, you will not get any where. I never cried after I graduated and I thought I would. I was actually sad when it was the beginning of my senior year because I thought I wouldn't see this person/thatm but in the end if they aren't in my life, then it;s all good, we all have to grow up and go our separate ways. Good luck. I like the school I went to, just not the people, so -I don't miss H.S.

I am a junior in college and yes college is better than High school... I have remained friends with most of my high school friends and now some of us are still going to college together. Of course with facebook/myspace its much easier now to keep in touch with everyone you will meet. It was kind of sad for me when I graduated because i was really involved in fact I was the speaker at graduation and I cried when I was telling a story about being in high school. Just make the best of it while you are there and remember a couple of things JUST BE COOL AND DONT HOLD ONTO GRUDGES!!!

Hey, I am 25...hope I can shed some light. I still keep in contact with some of my high school friends. There are too many people in my life now to see everyone. I was the only person in my high school who went to the university I did. I was very popular in high school and knew everyone, so the change was a little sad. But my university was only a hours drive away so it wasn't so bad, I could come home during the weekends.

University was better in the sense that the whole day belongs to you. YOu set up your schedule. No...I odn't mean you class schedule....I mean if you wake up and don't feel like going to class, you don't.....don't feel like eatting lunch until 5 pm? That's fine.....don't feel like eatting dinner...how about a bbq instead at 1 am? That's fine too....your day is up to you, and that will be the biggest change.

Perhaps the better question would be, which one would you rather relive? University or high school? I would rather relive university.

I went to two high schools; Ridgefield Memorial High School in Ridgefield, New Jersey, and Bergen County Technical High School in Hackensack, New Jersey, and I do not keep in contact with any of them.

However, college was a whole lot better because none of the ugly, stupid, weird classmates went to the same college with me.

depends how you feel about school, when i left i didnt miss a thing abou it, now in college, moving on with my life,
i still keep in contact with my closest friends, thanks to myspace, but i dont really see them up front since we have gone our seperate ways and being busy with work,

college IS alot better, the only thing i hate about it is getting up in the morning, i LOVE college! no stupid rules, no popularity-self-centered people, nobody cares
