If you had a 3rd option to vote for President, Would you vote for a different party other than Republican and Democrat?
I know there are many other parties out there, like the Independent Party and my question is stil the same.

National Platform of the Libertarian Party

Adopted in Convention, July 2, 2006, Portland Oregon
Preamble
As Libertarians, we seek a world of liberty; a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and no one is forced to sacrifice his or her values for the benefit of others.

We believe that respect for individual rights is the essential precondition for a free and prosperous world, that force and fraud must be banished from human relationships, and that only through freedom can peace and prosperity be realized.

Consequently, we defend each person's right to engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and welcome the diversity that freedom brings. The world we seek to build is one where individuals are free to follow their own dreams in their own ways, without interference from government or any authoritarian power.

These specific policies are not our goal, however. Our goal is nothing more nor less than a world set free in our lifetime, and it is to this end that we take these stands

this is a great start to their platform, in my opinion they are the best party out there

rest of the platform is listed on there website

One should always vote for the best candidate, not based on party or "electability". Then again, I've voted third party/independent in 1988, 1992, 2000 and 2004 (Dole in 1996).

So yes, I would vote for a third party - unless somehow Mike Gravel gets nominated.

If there was a real third option then definitely yes i would.
The problem is if i vote for a third party then the one i don't want to win gets one up on the guy i prefer.
So a vote these days is more a vote against the one you hate most rather then for the guy you think is best for the job.

I'd vote for the Disney party. Certainly Mickey and Goofy could do a superior Job to George and Dickless.

I'm a conservative.
Elected Republicans do NOT represent ME!
Want to start a Conservative party?
