you should be pissed. It was your tax dollars that helped pay for those washers. Our military budget is bloated and this explains why.

Where do you get your information? What type of washers: dish washers, clothes washers, gasket washers?
I remember the stories about $200 toilet seats and $500 hammers that the military bought in the 1980s. So I look it up in the supply manual. The $200 was for a toilet, (coma) seat; in other words, a camode. The $500 hammer was listed as hammer, (coma) pneumatic, as in a air-powered jack hammer.
