Here is the question I posted:

Am I awesome?

Am I awesome because I just made the best pot roast ever? My boyfriend was freaking out and going on and on about how it was the best pot roast ever and saying it was way better than his grandmothers! Better than any grandmothers! lmao!

Since my pot roast kicks so much @ss, I automatically kick @ss too, right?

Is that really so bad? Did a disgruntled grandmother happen to see my question???

Yeah, it's that Reporting Grannies Cartel, no doubt. They hang out in the Food & Drink, Knitting and Wedding Planning categories. Watch your backs, they're corrupt.

For one, it's not really a question, even though you ask whether you're awesome. Also, it can be considered to be "chatty" or conversational, a violation of #18 on the list of don'ts in the Community Guidelines. - http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines.php

If you truly feel that the question should not have been removed and you did not violate any guidelines, you can post an appeal to the Violation Appeals Board. A Yahoo! staff member will either tell you what the violation was and it will stand or it will be given a second review.

My understanding of Yahoo answers is that once a question or answer is reported, it is deleted without a thinking human being actually reading it. I have had a couple of my answers deleted, and yet, no reason is supplied even when you ask for it- the conclusion i've drawn from this is that moderation on this site is largely an automated process.

She probably read it and thought to herself that no young whipper snapper could possibly make a decent pot roast these days. So she reported you for being a whipper snapper! lmao Seriously, what else could have been the reason right?

First of all, congrats on the post roast!! It's hard to beat grandma's! LOL!! I still haven't made a good one, but I'll keep trying...

Maybe someone complained about your "@" remarks? I've read a whole lot worse that didn't get removed!

Either they automatically detect the @ and deleted it, or some religious fanatic, scripture quoting, intelligence level floating above primordial ooze, self serving, hypocritical, immoral- moralists scum complained. Thats why they need to be castrated so no more of their genes are passed to future generations. Maybe they will delete this...

that's no longer suitable what your political ideals are. in my view, i'm anti-Iraq warfare and that i think of of George Bush is a twit. probability is, human beings in undemanding terms picked up on the reality you're going around asking biased 'questions'. you do now no longer in all probability ask Questions lots as state an opinion with a question mark on the superb. Yahoo strategies isn't a cleansing cleansing soap field or political opinion bulletin board, this may well be a place the situation human beings ask questions because of the reality they easily want strategies for them, and not the variety of strategies they anticipate and desire to earnings. as immediately as lower back, I agree. yet what you asked isn't even a actual question. learn the community rules and return as quickly as you have a actual question to invite - now no longer because of the fact which you desire to unfold your evaluations, now no longer because of the fact which you desire to discover people who have faith you, yet because of the fact which you do now no longer comprehend the respond and want somebody to share it with you.
