Yes, a couple showing good finances, good character and a love for children and family should be able to adopt. Heck, we need more good homes for good kids out there.....let's haul 'em in, train 'em well....and get the process moving.

Let's not limit anyone with responsible, tolerant love to demonstrate it and raise children with it.

Go Gay Adoption!!!!

There are so many unwanted children and I think it is awesome when anyone who can't physically (straight or gay) and naturally reproduce with their partner adopts a child. If you have love to share and can help a child who might be more at risk then others, then you should and I believe it is your duty as a human being. I think all of the pro-lifers need to stop lecturing the pro choice people about not terminating their pregnancies until everyone one of them is willing to adopt a child.

absolutely not...i am pregnant, and was being harshly pressured by my ex to place our daughter for adoption. this is a very selfless act, and one I could not do. However, I did look into it, and considered adopting our daughter out to a gay couple. A loving, stable home is far more important than the sexual orientation of your parents. My boyfriend (the one pushing the adoption) however was totally opposed to the idea. To each their own, I'm not here to judge

Certainly. If they are suitable adoptive parents according to the rules, their sexuality should make no difference at all. Nearly all gay people have heterosexual parents, real or adoptive, so why should some straight kids not have gay parents? Many do anyway.

Of course it is. Why not?

Since homophobia is a sin, I'm more concerned about children who are adopted into homes where the parents try to recruit them into the anti-gay lifestyle.

Is it appropriate to have thousands of children sitting in foster care with no family when there are people out there willing to give them the love and home that they need and deserve?

Is it appropriate for alcoholics, drug addicts, prostitutes to have kids and then give them up?

All kids want is love and if a person be they gay or straight can give that to a child then let it be.

Totally, they can lower rates by half or so. And also are 10 times more likely to adopt older, mentally or physically handicapped, HIV+ AIDS+, etc children.

Why not? Is it appropraite for straight pedophiles to breed?
Why cant loving gay parents adopt them from those people instead of gay people having their own kids taken away and put into foster homes with "normal" people who will molest them anyway. Isnt that the fear when kids get taken away from gay parents?
