The key language in the Twenty-second Amendment is "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice." Nowhere in the Twenty-second Amendment does it mention the office of the Vice-president (though it does mention serving part of the term "to which some other person was elected President."

By its plain language, there is no restriction on a former President being elected Vice-President (even if they have been elected President twice) or succeeding to the Presidency if they are elected Vice-President.

Having said that, I do not think any former President would agree to serve as Vice-President. I also do not think Senator Clinton would be so dumb as to nominate her husband. It would violate the first rule of selection of the Vice-Presidential candidate which is avoid someone who would hurt the ticket more than help the ticket.

If Hilary gets the nomination, I would look for her to nominate someone like Governor Mark Warner of Virginia or Senator Bayh of Indiana.

XXII amendment says: No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

XX amendment says: If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President.

So she can pick Bill Clinton for VP. and if she should croak, well de`ja`vu

One of the few requirements for VP is that he is able to serve as President. Since Bill Clinton has already served 2 terms as President, he could not serve in that position again and thus couldn't be President. A one-term President (say, George Bush Sr.) could be selected as VP.

The problem is, if Hillary goes down, Bill is the sitting president, in violation of the XXII Amendment.

Thus, if a president has served two full terms or the equivalent, he cannot be a vice president thereafter.

If Hilary wins the presidency, all she has t do is amend the Constitution in order that she can have her husband Slick Willy as her VP. But remember that the president and the vice president cannot be close together all the time so that gives Slick Willy the opportunity to gallivant around without Hilary knowing it.

Good idea (if feasible), but she will choose someone to add some geographic strength to the ticket. Bill will make an excellent ambassador and help re-build the lost credibility during George's imperial dynasty.

Hopefully, she will give back some of the excessive power stolen by the executive branch during the current administration. (That's optimistic.)

Yes they can, but she would never pick her husband! Ever! I doubt if she would pick Obama, but who knows. She hasn't been selected yet!

And she , even though Reagan was in the White House, would become the 1st Oscar winner to become president! Bill Clinton won his after his presidency!

Well if I didn't know that Hillary would never pick Bill as her vice-president I would say "I'm not sure if he can or not."
