Love that song by the late great Johnny Cash. Back in 96 I had advanced cancer and my faith in God was put to the test. Faith prevailed over fear and happiness and joy took the place of disease and death. I am happy today as my faith was rewared as I stood tall against that ring of fire.

one night i was driving home from a dance with my crazy aunt and my cousin. the road we were on was a very dangerous one. my aunt couldnt see well in the dark and to make matters worse it was pouring down rain and wind was pushing us off the side of the road. my aunt is crazy so she keeps repeating the phrase "we're going to die" after saying that about 5 times she busted out in this powerful prayer. she asked god to protect us and help us get home safely. the moment my aunt said AMEN, what was once huge raindropps beating down on the windshield turned into tiny little sprinkles. the wind wasnt blowing so hard either. it was amazing.... we all sat in silence, in awe. ever since then my faith has been stronger

You may have seen a movie of man in fire in fantastic four but I have seen myself in fire and being washed away . Faith is just a beginning for anyone who has pure heart .
