Walmart creates a burden on local social services and takes needed revenues away from the community.

the conditions there have not been good for years. my uncle knew that guy Sam years ago when it was not as big yet. this guy was nice to everyone at least on surface. he did one time offer to advance my uncle money to buy stock. he knew then his company would one day take off. my uncle couldn't afford the few dollars and was taught to never borrow money. he regrets that now ! LOL
the probem seems to be in the management under the top level and down through the stores ? my uncle was a jnr. member of store management and they would ask him to travel to AK for meetings. He was expected to bring a tent. They would not reimburse for even a cheap hotel room. The snr. management team got to share a double room. 4 per room. LOL. they became physically abusive of him during a management meeting. he decided to get another job. he was afraid to complain because he had a family / it was a small job. he did not want to get blackballed and not work again in the town.
I wonder if the decision will help others people who have been hassled by jobs. You can work for years and the minute you need a little extra time off , they do forget quickly.
I'm glad the employees won that one :-)

I use to love Wal-mart back in the day when it was American made. Now, like much of the rest of our business's, they have changed into the every other type of store so I don't shop there anymore. It's just how I feel...sorry

You need to be more specific. Sometimes people call the doctor's office for an excuse note when they just stayed home sick. No reputable doctor will provide such a note.

Oh I see a whiner...wha wha, I just started working for walmart and I worked ther e3 days then took the next 5 days off because I hate working..whats your question?
