In the latest Vlasic pickle commercial showing the girl looking for a snack, she says "How about some chips?" The stork says, "Love to, but those things go straight to my _____"?? My mother insists he is saying "backs" and I say "thighs"--who is right??

I'm pretty sure he is saying "thighs".
Otherwise, it isn't even funny or clever.
A stork is a bird, remember, and birds don't really have thighs like most animals--just little straight stick legs, jointed of course, but both long bones in a bird's legs are not "shapely". So for the pickles to go to his thighs, well...you get it or you don't.

"Thighs" make a lot more sense. Never heard of chipsgoing sraight ot one's "backs". Maybe you missed a syllable and the stork said "backside" ????

i'd be pretty sure it's thighs. when you eat something, you say it goes right to your thighs or hips meaning the fat.

i suppose you could have a fatty back, but i don't want to discuss it.
