He didn't rob anyone, steal, cheat, or kill anyone. He might actually go to jail because of some muts. The NFL will miss him this season if he goes to jail. All because of some dogs. Man, what a tough break.

Youre right ! I mean all the mans guilty of is illegall gambling, torturing and slaughtering dogs who did not perform or should i say "win" the fights in which he arranged! I mean what has this world come to when you cant be free to do things like that anymore without getting punished !

Im just taking a shot in the dark that ur a falcons fan...You need to realize that doing this to innocent animals is wrong... one always hears about dogs biting and sometimes killing kids and thats all because of things like what Vick funded. I dont know how old you are but maybe you have a young brother or sister or child...imagine that person walking down the street and getting ripped apart by a "mut"... now im a dog lover and this is the thing that happens when people mistreet dogs.

You missed the point entirely. The league doesn't care about dead pit bulls, it cares about gambling. Once a player is percieved as a gambler, it casts doubt on the sincerity of all the games he plays in, and Goodell can't have that.
When Vick cops a plea tomorrow because 2 more of his friends are turning state's evidence, he will definitely get some jail time AND an NFL suspension. For racketeering and gambling, not for dog-fighting.

Well first of all he was involved in illegal gambling which is pretty bad, and remember just cause a crime isnt as serious as murder or theft, doesnt mean it's not a crime. I mean the guy murdered dogs. He consciously decided to become involved in something that is illegal and now he is gonna have to pay for it. I mean if he wanted to keep his career, he should have spent more time on the football field learning how to pass and less time murdering dogs. He brought this upon himself. If he gets convicted of the gambling charges he'll be in the clink for 2 plus years and will receive a life long suspension from the NFL.

Ok, I hope you have had your fun posting such a stupid, baiting question as this. You deserve all the insults you are getting here, and I agree with the other posters, I hold a 'mutt' in much higher regard than I do idiots like you. You are definitely ******up. How's that working out for you? Oh , not so good huh? Maybe you can get a cell next to Vick and you two can be cell butties.

You are an idiot. It is really sad that you are choosing to feel bad for him when he is the one that made the mistake instead of the innocent dogs. I do not care if it was pit bulls or poodles... what he did was wrong. And as for your ignorant statement that he did not cheat or kill anyone, what do you think dog fighting is? Of course he cheated people in it and he killed animals for no reason. It is pathetic that you would say it was a tough break. What he did was intentional and he should receive the same sentence that those dogs suffered if he is found guilty. You need to learn some empathy and compassion.

of course i can. people like you need to learn that animal abuse is no joke. i'm very happy that such a high-profile case has finally come along. and actually you're wrong, he did cheat. i guarantee he didn't put "winnings from dogfighting" on his 1040. that's called tax evasion, and it's how a lot of dumb criminals get caught. the nfl won't miss him, anyone who knows anything about football knows that he is a very good running back, and a bad quarterback. his career pass % is in the low 50s. he can't even make the simple short throws. until he learns to think like a passer, he'll never be a great quarterback, because he can be contained as a runner

I realize you posted this simply to anger and insult dog owners. You will succeed. What value is Vick to the NFL? Vick can hand the ball off an run with it, but he cannot pass the ball.
What value is this dog torturer? The only value is his expense to the Falcons. A man does not abuse women, children, or animals.

After what he did? No way man. That was an innocent dog and I think it's wrong for any human to even think about killing or abusing an animal. It always should of been a law of the world and I think anyone that kills farm animals as well should be put in jail, That's right we need to ban meat right now! and let the animals live and have their freedom.
