tithing is supposed to be a percentage of what you earn. A small percentage, like 8%, I believe. If she can afford it and wants to support the church, then good for her. If she is putting her faith in and supporting the individual instead of the church and God, then she is making a mistake. If the electric bill or food bill is being neglected to tithe, then she needs to rethink this idea. Hopefully you are wealthy enough to support the church with that kind of money and everyone ends up happy.

If she feels this is the right thing to do so be it. That is a lot amount to give with her going to church only once a month. I believe in tithing, but if this amount takes away from the family bills and so forth, maybe she needs to rethink it.

If you can afford it, then do it. Ask yourself one question: Do I want to be happy? If the answer is yes, then give the money.

Personally I would rather invest the money, but I know from experience that a happy wife is more important than anything you could ever buy.

tithing is giving 10% of her income but she has to be putting an effort into her relationship with god not just giving money.

If she believes in following the bible, she will give 10% back to the Lords work. Which means you guys are doing ok for yourselves. Of course "Ceasar" gets his portion first!

That is ridiculous. Does she work and earn the money herself? If she doesn't, then say NO!!! If she does, let her do what she wants. As long as she is still contributing to the household.

that's a little steep, unless you are the Queen of England or something?

perhaps work a reasonable amount into your budget, and agree on it together.
