Something is wrong with your brake system. More than likely you need to have the brakes bled, a sensor is bad or you have moisture in the brake fluid. No matter what it is the dealership should cover it under warrenty. I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra. I bought it new a little over a year ago. It has over 50,000 miles on it. All I have ever done to it is oil changes and gas. I hate the car cause I am a truck guy. But as far as being dependable it has been great. I must admit I would rather drive my 2005 Dodge 2500 extended cab Diesel. But who can afford $800.00 per month for Fuel? Hope you have a good relationship with your dealer ship. Sounds like you might be spending some time with them. It may be that the car was built on Friday at Beer thirty. Good Luck.

its not a short in the wires (it wont light up if its got a short in the wiring and you would have more then that prob. if it was)
Did you check the brake fluid lv.? thats the most likely.
Or it could be a sensor gone bad. Did you check the brake shoes? In newer cars they put sensors in the pads as opposed to the old way when they would use sqwilers (i.e. little peaces of metal embeded in the pads) Some times the sensors in the pads go bad ...this is the most likely!
Its not a good idea to mix brake shoes and electonics....but then agian the auto indi. thought FORD was a good idea 2!

I don't know what state you live in but you need to check into your lemon laws. I'm in Colorado and was given a replacement car because of the same issues. Look around online for your state statues and go to the manager or owner of the dealership, not the salesman. You might even get in contact with Nissan itself. You have a lemon...

sounds like you have a problem with a broken, or misadjusted parking brake switch. You could be low on fluid, or have a wheel sensor bad.
Lucky for you, you are on a first name basis with the nissan dealer. Take it back in and let them have another crack at fixing the thing. good luck.
Good prices on Fords are available at your local dealer. lol

Sounds like your brake pedal switch is not working properly or something is hindering its ability to work. Look under the dash board at where the brake pedal meets with the switch and see if it is pushing the button down or not when the pedal is stationary...If not find something to hold that button down until you can get the part to permanently fix it

Sounds like a short, Almost like a check engine light does. Take it to your dealer and have them look at it.
