I am currently a senior with 2.6 overall GPA in a business school with one more semester to go before graduation. I have no job experience nor any internship experience. I was wondering if it'll be wise for me to stay an extra semester in my school to pull my GPA up to 3.0 and then graduate, or should I just graduate after this semester with below 3.0 overall GPA? The reason that i want to get a 3.0GPA is because most employers seek potential employees with at least 3.0. And also, most graduate schools require 3.0 overall GPA as well. So can you guys give me any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

If you can find a job now go for it. What would be better than pulling your GPA up is perhaps getting an internship, or ask your advisor to see if your school participates in any co-op programs with any businesses. Experience is more useful than pulling a mediocre GPA up to a decent one.

I would suggest another semester. You can get your GPA up as well as spend that extra time looking for internship opportunities. Once you have your degree, your transcript stays as it it. You can take other classes afterwards, but it doesn't chance the fact that you graduated with this degree with a below 3.0 GPA.

Stay at least another semester. Consider adding another major. Pull your grades up as best you can and get work AND volunteer experiences. Kick yourself into high gear and you'll be rewarded.

The reason volunteering is so great is that it really pads your resume. It looks like work experience, but you don't have to go through a tedious hiring process and put in a lot of time doing crap work. You can help people or work for good causes and list it all.

I think you should stay another semester to build up your gpa and see if there is something you could do to make you look more attractive to employers. It would definitely help to get some experience of some sort to help you out. Take another semester and make it count.

employers do care about ur GPA but it's not the main thing, they do care about other things that maybe be more important to them than ur GPA
personally i think anything from 2.5 and above is acceptable and good.
after all u dont wanna waste ur life repeating courses.
