Nearly every day (and sometimes 2 or 3 daily) when I was stationed on Adak Island -- an island off the coast of Alaska in the Aleutians. The worst occurred just a week before I got there -- 8.7 or 8.9 on the Richter scale -- but I saw the aftermath from all the photos my Navy buddy took that day & the next. The first big one after that I was sitting in the office and the file cabinet started shaking, then the floor and the building started moving! I ran next door and asked another Sailor if we needed to evacuate and he said, "Naw, it'll be over in a few minutes." LOL

*The islands are particularly prone to earthquakes, often many with a magnitude of over 5 occur each day.

Being that California is stable next to the Pacific Rim with all that volcanic pastime the two Japan, Hawaii and us go through by many earthquakes of all sizes. no person i comprehend has ever been heavily injury, yet we've misplaced relatively some products at the same time with some stable bottles of wine and whiskey! Darnit! lol The wildest time become while i become in my automobile as quickly as and the floor regarded as though it have been shifting. i ended and have been given out because of the fact I had no clue what become occurring and it become a reasonably super one. the floor easily regarded as though it have been rolling. Very freaky. I continuously laugh while people who stay someplace else say i'm loopy for living right here. Blizzards ... Ice storms ... Tsunamis ... everywhere you reside you need to stand some thing. ought to besides stay the place you like it in my view. Peace to you ... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have! It wasn't a big one, but it was still scary. I woke up because I thought I heard thunder, but then my bed started shaking! I was a little freaked out.
