Orange County California. Can't remember the year. We were staying with some friends when two major earthquakes struck within an hour of each other. I've also survived hurricanes and typhoons over the years.

Several.

San Fernando Earthquake, Feb. 1971
Pu'u o'o' Eruption, Hawaii Jan. 1983, on site! Way cool.
Loma Prieta Earthquake (I lived in the Marina District), 1989
Northridge Earthquake, 93 or was it 94?
And a bunch of little quakes that don't count.

Still haven't done tornadoes, a tsunami, or a hurricane. Maybe someday.

I don't really see them as disasters. Just the Earth doing what she does. It's the people swarming around building stuff where they shouldn't, that's the problem.

Yes a few. In one that I recall of Feb or March 2001. Seattle WA Earthquake. 6.5 richter scale I think. I was in the 5th floor of a Swedish Medical Center building. I think I was the second fastest person out of the building. When I went back in after the event, I saw many cracks in the corners of the inside stairwell. The building was old and not earthquake proof.

That's why they call it tornado alley! But with this heat, the grass doesn't look any greener on the other side!
