Have you ever quit a job on the first day????

Heck im about to lol! I just got a job at Popeyes yesterday and it was the worst thing imaginable, crappy training, nasty stuff, and a rude boss, it was my first job too lol! Im about to call right now and tell him i quit. Wow it was horrible, i dont think i ever want to work in a fast food place again! They had me putting spices on the chicken and messing with the chicken without gloves on! Talk about nasty! So tell me have you ever quit a job on the first day???/

Yep. I had the same kind of experience at Taco Bell several years ago. No gloves, no hygeine . . . The place was just nasty. So, I quit.

Ha yeah. I didn't show up for the first day. And another one I quit after 3 days. This was a long time ago.

Yes, selling magazines over the phone. Not a nasty job, but a really sucky one. I sold about 8 subscriptions - average was 2 a day (I have a very attractive girly voice, which does not fit me, btw) and was taking a break, and got griped out by the boss, so I told him to shove it and left. He followed me all the way to the car, asking what was wrong, lol.

i worked at david's bridal for one day i thought it would be so much fun to help people try on pretty dresses all day and it would be like the wedding planner lol
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how about i was the little B***H girl that had to put everything away when people were done trying on clean out the dressing rooms and for those of you who dont know wedding dresses are freaking heavy and they had a different section for everything possible and all these rules about where stuff had to go and it was my first day no one helped me there was like 20 different sections i couldnt keep straight and they would yell at me when i put something in the wrong place plus i had to wear dress clothes which consisted of a nice sweater and dress pants i sweated all day and it was the most horrible day of my life so i called them up the next day and told them i was quitting and ya the manager was pretty pissed but i have enough of my own clothes to put away not someone elses lol :O)

No, but I quit on the second day....place was a joke.....no training, the staff was dumb....no way was I working there. We were supposed to be taking care of mentally challenged kids.....no way...the kids were OK....it was the staff.

You should call the health department on them. You are supposed to wear gloves when working with food.

Yeah more than once, usually because the conditions or money weren't as promised.

I suggest going in and quitting, make a scene, use obscenity, and/or just mimic a movie. How many times do you get to quit like that? It isn't as if you'll be using it as a reference.

No, but I know what it's like to work at a fast food place. Fortunately, it was great training, great bosses, great cleanliness,great perks. But fast food employee life is hard. Probably 'cause it's supposed to be FAST. I am not good with fast.

my mom works wal-mart deli! walmart treats their employees crappy.at least our wal-mart does.i would never work there.

i got fired after three days once. i had a little welding gig, a while back, with a contractor that was actually working no my highschool. they found out i was a student there, and only 16 and fired me :( he said come back when i turn 18. i didn't

I have quit on the 2nd day. Hey if it's not for you there's no use wasting time. Find something you like or can at least tolerate.
