The track is supposedly on reflecting on Fergie's replaced life whilst she struggled with many issues at a youthful age in the past transforming into a member of the Black Eyed Peas. some interpreted as a homeless woman who needs to alter or a prostitute who needs a sparkling life.

in the song shes talking about her boyfriend leaving her, and shes saying she shoulndt cry because shes a big girl, and big girls dont't cry....actully I have no idea, good question.

To me it means that she has to get on with her life and start focusing on herself! Because her man is holding her back!, but if he is willing to go with her and help her he can, but she doesn't want him to think that this is going to be easy for her because it isn't becuase she is going to miss him more than anything!! But she needs to do this for herself!
