my friend says that her computer screen is messed up,and its in big pixels,and also,its going slow and the mouse doesnt really work.it doesnt have a virus b/c she ran a scan but we dont know whats wrong.do you know what it might be?

Both upper posts are right.

Click Start, click Run, type dxdiag, click OK. Choose Display tab to check if your device and driver are there. If not, you need to install VGA driver. If onboard video, driver is on the CD that contains chipset drivers. If discrete graphics card, it has its own driver CD. After installation, adjust display resolution preferably to the native resolution of the monitor.

It could be the settings of ur screen resolution or u havnt installed the drivers for ur graphics card yet

tell her right right click her desktop and click properties. Then go to settings. And check what the screen resolution is set on, most peoples is set on 1024 by 768.
