If you want volumes of traffic without really putting effort into building an organic traffic site, you will need a small fortune to keep your pay per click network buys going. Without the cost, all your traffic stops rolling in. There are cheaper networks out on the internet that will drive traffic, but users typically abandon sites more often with this route.

There are quite a few to list, search Google for "2nd tier pay per click engines" -- NOTE -- take a good read of the first result ("5 Reasons To Avoid 2nd- and 3rd- Tier PPC Search Engines") - it is ranked number 1 for a reason. The points the author makes are all true.

It is to your benefit to know how to pull levels to change the flow of your traffic, but don't rely on one source. It could be shut down tomorrow for click fraud, spam or any other deceptive behavior.

* Regularly updating content.

* Trade links with other sites having high Page Ranks.

* Create informational articles having a very attractive resource box and submit them to popular Article directories.

From what I understand the more other websites link to your sites the higher your ranking is with google. The higher ranking the sites are that have your link the better. The easiest thing to do is create blogs that talk about your site and make a link on those. Blogs are ususally free.

If people what what you have to offer they just need to know it is there. Most of us like to deal with places we have heard of like eBay or Amazon or Home Depot so will search on those names. You have to pay to get good coverage in search engines. But even if people come they may not buy.
