Okay so a few days ago my computer was infected with something and my background was replaced with this spyware warning thing. I got rid of the pop ups(error cleaner, etc.) as well as the background but now my background is blank white. How do I get my background back?

I know my explanation probably doesn't make sense but that's b/c I'm not entirely sure as to what happened/went wrong.

Well if it was a virus then get scan your system. What happens when you re-select another background image?

Click anywhere out in the open on your desktop screen. Go down to Properties in the window that appears, and click on it. In this window click on Desktop, and either choose from one that is listed, or click on Browse, and choose one from your My Pictures folder. Click on the background you want from the folder, then click on Apply, then OK.
Edit: Then click on Start,Control Panel, Appearance and Themes, Change my desktop background.

On a blank part of your screen, click the right button of your mouse, goto to properties and setup your ned desktop background.

right click anywhere on the computer (on this new background) and then click on "properties". and then click "desktop" and then search for your old background in the list, choose it, and press ok.
