The tissue will begin to break down causing ghastly itching and possibly pelvic infection that is serious, and the infection can become systemic yeast. Diflucan 1-Dose pill is a great thing - do it. Systemic yeast is horribly difficult to control once you have it.

I found that on webmd. It didn't say how long it would take to go away. However, it did go on to say this:

it wont it will get worse. if left untreated long enough it can get into your bladder and cause a uti. it can cause you to be sterile, and it can get in your blood and into your heart and kill you
