My friend said this was a possiblity for her baby. Does it sound like a boy's name or a girl's? Middle name suggestions? And comments on the name? Thanks!

It sounds like two names smooshed together....badly. Sorry. It doesn't appeal to me.
It would be a girls name I think though.

Tell her to name her kid a name rather than making up a word. Bree is a name, Reagan is a name. I'd admonish the latter as an option for two reasons: political association and last names as first names are stupid. But both of those are better than merging them into nonsense.

It sounds like a girly-boy or boy-girl. poor thing! Does she want the kid to have to be referred to in gender neutral terms without a visual inspection? That's awkward for everyone!

Sounds like a girls name. I am not into the non-traditional names...Bree would be nicer I think, but I've always loved the middle name Ann as well.

ew no. tell your friend don't do that. it sounds like a combo of both a female and a male name, so I don't think it sounds like a boys or a girls name. If she's having a girl how about Breanne, Breanna or just Bree instead. If she's having a boy how about Keegan?

Remember the kid will have to spell it forever. If you like Irish names try Kellen or Kelly or Kegan or Kiley or Brooks for a boy Brooke for a girl. Stand outside and scream it ten times just like you'll do for your child.

I would say a couple things...

1- Girls name (Bree for short)

2- Breegan Noel

3- If they are set on this name, more power to em...but it is going to be hecka hard to find any magnets or key chains with this name. (unless of course, they go with Bree as a main nickname...there are Bree things out there.)
